Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Socrion ("Service") provided by Dmitrii Kuznetsov, Independent Developer ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account, accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.
1. The Service
1.1.
The Service is a software product accessible at https://socrion.io and its subdomains, including https://app.socrion.io, as well as via mobile applications for iOS distributed through the Apple App Store and for Android distributed through Google Play.
1.2.
The Service provides users with AI-generated interpretations of tarot card readings in the formats made available within the Service. AI-generated interpretations are produced using third-party large language models (currently Anthropic Claude). We reserve the right to change the AI provider, the underlying models or their parameters without prior notice, provided that the entertainment-only nature and core functionality of the Service remain the same.
1.3. Entertainment-only nature
The Service is provided for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only.
The Service is not and shall not be considered to be:
- medical advice or a substitute for professional medical care or psychological therapy;
- legal, financial, tax, business or other professional advice;
- a prediction of future events, a guarantee of outcomes, or a tool for making material life decisions.
Decisions you take on the basis of content generated by the Service are your sole responsibility. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of any interpretation to your particular situation.
2. Eligibility
2.1.
The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age.
2.2.
By registering an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. Providing false information about your age is a breach of these Terms.
2.3.
If we become aware that an account has been registered by a person under 18, we will suspend and delete that account.
3. Your Account
3.1. Registration
You may create an account in the Service using one of the following methods:
- email address with a password;
- sign-in via Google;
- sign-in via Apple;
- sign-in via Telegram Login Widget.
3.2. Information you provide
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.
3.3. Account security
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity carried out through your account. You agree to notify us promptly at legal@socrion.io if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
3.4. One account per user
You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent service limits, promotional offers or these Terms.
4. In-Service Credit and Purchases
4.1.
The Service uses an internal credit system to access paid features. Credits are non-monetary units that allow you to redeem services within the Service.
4.2.
Credits are:
- a means of pre-payment for services within the Service;
- not money, e-money, securities, or any form of cryptocurrency or digital financial asset;
- non-transferable to other users;
- of no value outside the Service.
4.3. Purchase methods
You may purchase credits through:
- Apple In-App Purchase within the iOS application (Apple App Store payment terms apply);
- Google Play Billing within the Android application (Google Play payment terms apply);
- Lava.top for web-based international purchases (Lava.top payment terms apply);
- Telegram Stars (XTR) within the Telegram Mini App version of the Service (Telegram payment terms apply).
Purchases are processed by the respective payment provider. We do not store your payment card details or other sensitive payment information.
4.4. Promotional credit
We may grant promotional credit to new users at registration or as part of marketing campaigns. Promotional credit:
- is a bonus and not a paid product;
- is not refundable in cash;
- may expire if your account is deleted or upon other conditions specified at the time of grant.
4.5. Refunds
Refunds for purchases made through Apple IAP or Google Play Billing are handled according to the respective store's refund policies:

5. Acceptable Use
5.1.
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation;
- make decisions in areas requiring professional advice (medical, legal, financial) based solely on the Service output;
- attempt to disrupt, interfere with or circumvent the Service's functionality or security;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to discover the source code or underlying technology of the Service;
- use automated tools (bots, scrapers, scripts) to access the Service or generate readings at scale;
- create multiple accounts to abuse promotional offers;
- share your account credentials with third parties;
- copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify or create derivative works based on Service content (including the tarot deck designs and AI-generated interpretations) without our prior written consent;
- use the Service in a manner that could damage our reputation or the integrity of the Service.
5.2.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without refund of any unused credits.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. Our content
All intellectual property rights in the Service, including:
- the Service software;
- the authored tarot deck design;
- AI system prompts and interaction algorithms;
- the Service name, logos and other branding;
are owned by or licensed to us.
6.2. Limited licence
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes during the term of these Terms.
6.3. Your content
Your questions and the resulting reading interpretations are your personal data, processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of the questions you submit.
By submitting content to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process that content as necessary to provide the Service to you.
6.4. Feedback
If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant us the right to use such feedback without obligation.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
8. Service Availability and Modifications
8.1.
We strive to keep the Service available 24/7, subject to scheduled maintenance and circumstances beyond our control.
8.2.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you for any such modification, suspension or discontinuation.
8.3.
We may update the features, content and pricing of the Service from time to time.
9. Disclaimers
9.1.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM A COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
9.2.
We do not warrant that:
- the Service will meet your specific requirements;
- the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free;
- the AI-generated content will be accurate, complete or applicable to your situation;
- any reading or interpretation will correspond to actual outcomes in your life.
9.3.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. To the extent such exclusions are not permitted, our warranties are limited to the minimum extent required by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.
10.2.
WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, GOODWILL OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
10.3.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Termination
11.1. Termination by you
You may terminate your account at any time through the procedure described at https://socrion.io/en/legal/delete-account.
11.2. Termination by us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if:
- you breach these Terms;
- we are required to do so by law;
- the Service is discontinued.
11.3. Effect of termination
Upon termination:
- your right to use the Service ceases immediately;
- unused promotional credit is forfeited;
- terms that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability) will survive.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
12.1.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of your country of residence to the extent required by mandatory consumer protection rules. Otherwise, these Terms are governed by international principles of contract law applicable to digital services.
12.2.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be sought to be resolved through good-faith negotiations between you and us. Please contact us at legal@socrion.io to start a dispute resolution process.
12.3.
If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, you may pursue available remedies through the courts of your country of residence, in accordance with applicable consumer protection law. EU residents may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
13. Changes to These Terms
13.1.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top reflects when the Terms were last updated.
13.2.
For material changes, we will notify you via email or through the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
13.3.
Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
14. Miscellaneous
14.1. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
14.2. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
14.3. No waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
14.4. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely.
14.5. Apple Terms (iOS App Store)
If you accessed the iOS application through the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are concluded between you and us, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance or support services for the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple shall have no warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Service, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty shall be our sole responsibility. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the Service or your possession and use of it, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the Service fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation. In the event of any third-party claim that the Service or your possession and use of the Service infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with respect to your use of the Service, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

We aim to respond to your enquiries within a reasonable time, typically within 3 business days for support and within 30 days for legal or privacy-related requests.
