This Cookies Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are used on the Socrion website ("Service") and its subdomains, for what purposes and how you can manage your preferences.
This Cookies Policy is supplementary to our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored in your browser when you visit a website. Cookies allow the website to remember your session, preferences and other technical data between visits.
This Cookies Policy also covers similar technologies that may be used by the Service (such as local browser storage), referred to collectively as "cookies" unless stated otherwise.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
2.1. Strictly Necessary (always active)
These cookies are essential for the Service to function. Without them, you would not be able to sign in, use core features or have your preferences remembered. Consent is not required for these cookies under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (and equivalent provisions in UK law), because they are strictly necessary to provide the service you have requested.
We use strictly necessary cookies for:
- authentication and session management;
- protection against common security threats;
- remembering your selected interface language;
- recording your cookie preferences.
Retention: from a browser session up to 12 months, depending on the cookie's purpose.
2.2. Functional (opt-in)
These cookies remember your interface preferences and improve your user experience. None are currently in use. We may add such cookies in the future, in which case they will only be loaded after your consent.
2.3. Analytics (opt-in)
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Service and improve it. None are currently in use. This section is provided in case analytics cookies are introduced in the future — they will only be loaded after you have given your consent through the cookie banner, and the list of specific providers along with their privacy policies will be added to this Policy with the cookie banner re-displayed for renewed consent.
2.4. Marketing (opt-in)
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. This section is provided for transparency.

Third-party analytics and marketing cookies are not used as of the current version of this Policy.
If the list of cookies changes, this table will be updated. Material changes affecting cookie categories that require consent will trigger a re-display of the cookie banner for renewed consent.
3. Your Cookie Choices
When you first visit the website, you will see a cookie banner with three options:
- Accept all — consent to all cookie categories beyond strictly necessary;
- Necessary only — refuse all cookies that require consent;
- Customise — open detailed settings to consent or refuse each category separately.
Your choice is stored for 12 months. After that, the banner will appear again so you can confirm or update your preferences.
You may withdraw or change your consent at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer of https://socrion.io (as of the current version of this Policy, cookie management via the footer is available on the marketing website only; the in-app version at https://app.socrion.io uses only strictly necessary cookies — see Section 2.5 of this Policy).
You may also manage cookies through your browser settings. Below are paths to cookie controls in popular browsers:

- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions (or open
edge://settings/privacy).
Disabling strictly necessary cookies will make parts of the Service unusable (in particular, sign-in).
4. Third-Party Cookies
As of the current version of this Policy, the Service does not use third-party cookies that require user consent (analytics, marketing, advertising, or social media trackers).
For security, automated-attack mitigation, and Service availability, the Service uses Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) as a CDN provider. Cloudflare may set technical cookies at the infrastructure level (notably, __cf_bm, cf_clearance — see Section 2.5 above). These cookies fall under the strictly necessary category (Section 2.1) and are processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (performance of a contract) and the legitimate interest of the data controller in securing the information system (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

International data transfers. When you use the Service, your IP address and basic request metadata may be processed by Cloudflare on infrastructure located in the United States and other jurisdictions outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. We rely on Cloudflare's Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework as appropriate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR. No cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not engage in cross-context behavioural advertising or tracking across websites and apps owned by other companies — as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and applicable US state privacy laws.
No tracking for advertising purposes (Apple ATT framework). The Service does not use the Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework because we do not link end-user or device data collected from this Service with third-party data for advertising purposes, nor do we share end-user or device data with data brokers. Apple Privacy Nutrition Labels for the Service reflect this position.
If third-party cookies requiring consent are introduced in the future, the list of such providers and their privacy policies will be added to this Policy, the cookie banner will be re-displayed for renewed consent (opt-in), and the changes will be communicated through the Service interface.
5. Cookies and Personal Data
Some cookies (notably session identifiers and security identifiers) may constitute personal data under the GDPR. Processing of such personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
6. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data — including via cookies — from children under 13 years of age (in compliance with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, COPPA) or from children under 16 years of age (in compliance with Article 8 of the GDPR, where applicable).
If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that a minor has provided personal data to the Service, please contact us at legal@socrion.io and we will take steps to delete such data promptly.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. The "Effective date" at the top of this document indicates when it was last updated.
For material changes that affect your consent choices, the cookie banner will reappear so you can review and update your preferences.
