Preservation, holding onto resources. Sometimes necessary — you're protecting what was earned. Sometimes excessive — fear of losing makes you clench fists and let nothing pass through.

Reversed

The grip loosens — either you're ready to give part and receive movement in return, or resources leave on their own. Also: extravagance as reaction to long contraction.
